NYC STILL RISING After 20 years: A Comedy Celebration
While not technically "music", it's in this category because it was a non-televised one-off benefit designed for the one and only Madison Square Garden. Live Nation asked me to design a stage and lighting system that could load-in, rehearse and do a show all in the same day. Jon Stewart and Pete Davidison hosted this All-Star event where all of the proceeds benefited 9/11 charities. Some of the world-class performers included Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Jimmy Fallon, Tom Segura and more.... It was a joy to once again light so many of these comedians whom I've worked with in the past for this very special 20th Anniversary event.
