SOUL - The STAX Musical
This was the world premiere of this new musical. SOUL The Stax Musical, celebrates the early days of Stax Records, the founding of American Soul Music and how it’s intertwined with the Civil Rights Era and deeply woven into the fabric of the American experience. It was a joy to work on this with some long time collaborators and to get to light the incredible music of Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Booker T & The MG’s just to name a few. Keep an eye (and an ear!) out for additional productions.
